Default Big King

A big king was landed this weekend a few boats from us at Yaupon Reef. The fish weighed approx. 50lbs. I hope his brother finds our boat this coming weekend....

Good Luck to all fishing the Open this weekend! BE SAFE!

I am pretty sure he was using live bait...there were a lot of the big mullet being used this weekend...not many pogies to be found!

That's not a baby either!!! Most of the mullet that I saw being caught were on the beach...the spanish were terrorizing the small finger mullet between Ocean Crest and Yaupon Pier. It is going to be interesting to see where the bait will end up this weekend with a straight week and a half of ENE winds~

We found plenty of pogey's off Holden Beach in front of the water tower. That however didn't keep the skunk off our boat. Not even a sniff. Better luck next trip.

That is a monster king...should make it interesting for the tourney this weekend.

Good to see the big 'uns are on the beach, we're planning a trip soon! (save some gas)

You'll get 'em next time Hal!
