Spanish have been pretty thick on the beaches all the way from Little River to Southport.

I think the kings have slowly started to move back inshore, I know there was a few caught in the River Channel over the weekend.

Grouper are still in the 80'-110' range and are chewing pretty good.

I am sure the wahoo are biting in the stream, keep an eye on the temp shots and pull the trigger at the first sign of some coolor water moving over good structure and you should be able to demolish the wahoo. Hopefully there will be a showing of some tuna by the end of the month and into October. Personally, I plan on heading to Hatteras at the first sign on cooler water and plan on bringing plenty of Wasabi with me.

It's about to get good, man I love fall fishing!!

Went to the jungle Sat AM. Had lines in about 7:45 trolling a mix of cigar minnows and Clark-spoons on the surface and number 2 planers, Caught 4 Spanish all keepers, two Bonita, two king, and nearly missed two more king. not the best day, but not bad. Weather was overcast, water was clear, surface temp was right around 80 degrees IIRC. Seas and wind started kicking up later in the day, so we headed in towards the little river inlet around 11:00. All in all it was a good day, had better, had worse.

Got a couple of spanish around Lockwood Folly inlet but nothing to brag about. Of course, I'm a newbie to trolling...just pulling a clarkspoon on top, one on a number 1 planer and also pulling a YoZuri Deep diver.
