I need some advice on live bait fishing in Little River. I have not seen many menhaden off the beach. I threw the cast net and had plenty of mullet. I used sibiki rigs and I try catch bait for my weekend fishing trips. I have been catching atlantic herring 3-6 range. off course I catch pinfish. I have good luck keeping them alive in my bait well. Are the herring good bait for kings? If so, how would you rig them and fish them off the boat ie: 2 poles on bottom, one on topwater etc. should I chum?

hey john send out a herring on a baloon 5 to 10 below the surface one 50- 70 feet and one with an eggwieght one 100lb mono about 10 feet up from the bottom. chum some mullet not t much much though i had a fue of my fish ripped u by some barracuda and small sharks

also very important take the 3 hook trouble hook like ( like on the back of a rapala) and hook it behind the dorsal like shootn fish in a barrel
