Default Looking for boat builders

Going to Jarrett Bay to look at a low to mid 30's Express Carolina and was wondering what other builders are relatively close to them that I could check out while there. Any help would be great. Thanks

Parker is right across the road.

Seriously, head towards Harkers Island. East Bay Boat Works, Gillikin's, Alex Willis, and there another one that a a member here had build a boat for him. It's on Cape Lookout Rd and was built in the shed where Linwood Parker got started behind his house. Do a google on Harkers Island boat builders for all the contact info. When ya going?

That would be Billy Dupree (outerbanks boatworks) on Harkers Island. He is currently building me a 32' cc.
He has a 36' express, if I'm not mistaken, under construction in the shed right now. That one is set up for outboards,
but he will go diesel if desired.

Add to the list:

Lightning Yachts, Jarrett Bay Ind. park.
Heritage, Marshalberg.
Jamie Chadwick, Straights.
Silver Spray, Straights.
Shearline, Morehead City.

This should keep you busy for awhile, enjoy the hunt.

Might take a day and go north to Wanchese too if you're looking custom...no idea who builds what boats in that size, but I know there are at least a few builders up there worth checking into.

IF it's bigger boats you want 30'+ these threads have the best ones covered, if it's smaller, 20 to 25 add Intruder boats aka ProMarine in Harkers Island and the new Onslow Bay Boatworks in Snead's Ferry they are building a 23 that looks awesome.

Here is a link to all NC boat builders. This should add more than a few builders to your list.

The North Carolina list looks to be incomplete. Maybe they just haven't updated it in a long time. Missing Calyber, Dean Johnson and Glenn Bradley that I see right at the first of the alphabet. Don't see Billy Dupree (or Outer Banks) on there either, so probably a bunch more missing. I'll have to compare it to my list of Custom Carolina builders.
