Went to the shoals off Swan Quarter and caught plenty on nice blues! Saw some monster! Spanish schooling up baitfish but unable to pull any out. Unfortunately trolled up some trophy skates! Those things were every where. Caught some drum and more blues further in along with some smaller flounder.

Brent, did you launch at Pecan Grove? I get chills thinking of going out from that creek before sunrise as a kid. We use to see alligators back in those marshes. Bluff Sholes is an awesome place to fish. My friends are catching some nice Trout out of Hoebucken right now. They had a limit just this week and all where over 20 inches...

Brent , when you say the shoals, are you refering to the upper and lower middle grounds? Just curious, caught some blues in the middle grounds last year.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure where it was we launched at. It was right there at one of the ship yards usually heavily guarded by mosquitos. No signs of alligators though! Racinmullet, it was the middle grounds for the blues.
