Default Looking for Holden Beach Boat Storage.

I am looking for a place to keep my boat this summer. I would like to find a dock with lift. I have a 25 foot CC. Maybe you know someone with a canal or ICW lot that does not currently have a boat. I am willing to rent a slip from home owner. I found one in Varnam Town but I would rather be closer to the island. The Holden Beach Marina is a option but very expensive.

Thanks,
Tripp

Any ideas? Anyone who rents me a slip can go fishing with me from time to time if they want.

I don't know too many folks there who have rental dock space on the canals. Most are using theirs, or renting their houses. I'll see if anything pops up in the Beacon. You might try posting an add in the Brunswick Beacon (local fishwrap) and see if you get any leads. We are down there as much as possible in the warmer months, and I only know of 1 or 2 canal boat only rentals, but I'll keep an ear out for you.

Thanks CAP1 for the info. I think I will probably use the Holden Beach Marina this year. I am looking for some land in the Shallotte to Holden Beach area that has water access. If you come across a good deal on some please let me know. My wife and I are thinking of moving there full time in the next year. Thanks again.

tripp1969,

Good choice. I think you'll like Holden Beach Marina. They are good folks as are most of the folks that store their boat there. The service dept is also pretty good. You'll also like how close it is to Lockwood Folly Inlet.
