The weather's not looking too bad for an offshore trip on Friday 4/6/07 out of Morehead City. Guess I'm officially placing myself on "high alert" for Friday. I'll keep watching the weather closely. Anybody else thinking about heading offshore Friday?

Hopefully that front won't come through early, best of luck to everybody. I need to see if I can get the boat running right again. Post some reports and pics please!
Re: Offshore Friday April 6, 2007 (Morehead City, NC)
We are going to give it a shot-we can only fish til noon. Will be heading towards the NE corner unless we come across the break earlier. Hope to leave the ramp around 4 am in Morehead-we caught our yellowfins last week just as the sun was coming up. Will be scanning. Tight lines.

It was......four kingfish released and one tuna lost at the boat. Planer rod accounted for all kings except one. Pretty ride out but the wind kicked up sooner than predicted..... long slow ride in
