Are they on the road to Harkers. If so, last I had any dealings they were only doing new boats and too busy to work on an old Grady.

I second the Cape Lookout Canvas. Repairs on my stuff were done quickly. They even delivered the canvas to the boat for me since I'm from out of town.

Hi, I'm Preston Lea's wife (the owners of Carteret Canvas). To make a long story short, Preston purchased the "EZ2CY" franchise from the "Cat House' in 1999 (EZ2CY of NC). Later, he joined with a business partner (who he is no longer associated with). Once the "split" occured, we decided to change the name to include "canvas" due to the fact that so many customers did not realize the what "EZ2CY" was associated with. A vast majority of the projects that were produced during the partnership were fabricated by Preston, although "over-promising and under-delivering" (regarding turn-arouhd time/time promised) was an issue during this joint venture. Therefore, I guess you can say he's a "behind the scenes" owner (that's where I "come into play". Please visit our website and feel free to request references.

Oops! Forgot to tell you we've recently relocated from Bridges St. (Morehead City) to Jarrett Bay Industrial Park off of Hwy 101, Beaufort. Coastal Canvas is the only company I know of that is off of Harkers Island Road.
