Default Charleston - September Charter

Hey,
I'm headed to Charleston for the first week of September and I'm looking to take a charter (probably inshore) while down there (planning early to get the best of course!). What'll be running down there that time of year and can you please throw out a guide's name or two? Don't really want to tow the boat down from VA but still considering it vice chartering or might just have to do both. Pretty sure I will be staying in Isle of Palms. Many thanks in advance.

Check out www.charlestonfishing.com and you can see what is biting then.

There are several great inshore guides and if you do a search for the Isle of Palms Marina they will have some listed there as well.

My favorite is Ben Alderman( Superfly fishing Chaerters).

Good luck and let me know if you need some more names and I can get some for you but there are links/guides that frequent CharlestonFishing.com and all I have ever heard are good reports.

A friend of mine also uses Rick Hiott and has done well with him also

Everything is running here in september. It is my favorite time of year to fish.

And about guides.

Both Fritz and Alderman are great guides.
