Anyone ever stay at the Sanderling at Duck on the Outer Banks. Was thinking about staying there for the weekend with my girl friend but its a bit pricey so I wanted to get some opinons first. Thanks

We stayed there 2 years ago. It was a bit pricey, but we felt it was a reasonable value--it is pretty nice. Had a room on the beach.

We had dinner at their resturant. The were serving a tasting menu, which was good but not great. A bit hi-$. Wine list was over-the-top expensive.

We stayed there last spring and enjoyed it. Room was very nice, beach front with a great view. Restaurants very good but high $. Over all we'd go back but only in the off season, don't want to fight the traffic during the summer.

Very nice but not inexpensive. My father just retired from employment with the owner and I have spent a lot of time there, but I doubt I could stay there if I had to pay though.
There are indoor tennis courts, spa and weight room etc. Great restaurants too.
If you want to impress the girlfriend that is the right place.
