OI Report from Saturday - The Hull Truth

Went out of Oregon Inlet Sat on my 20' Sea Hunt for some bottom fishing. On the outgoing tide we tore the puppy drum, croakers (bigger than I have ever seen in NC) and trout up around Green Island. (squid) Tried some trolling for some early rockfish and blues outside but no strikes. Water temp was 74. Tides changed and the bite stopped. Charters had a big weekend. They were coming back in with their limits at 1100 sat morning.

Nice job dude. I am thinking of going out of there Thursday if the weather holds. Gotta get on some of those tuners.

Nice report. Glad you had fun. I'm thinking a few more weeks, water temp, before the stripers get worthy in the river and sound.

Yeah Brian..I had one guy tell me that they are schooling up around Manns harbor already on some of these cool mornings. Cant wait to get in the river and catch em up esp. with this years new limits.
