Thought some of you guys might want to know about my other business. I own www.coltonfly.com as well as Anglers Edge Marine.

We manufacture fly rods from scratch. Rolling our own blanks from Japanese Carbon Fiber at out facility in England. All reels are manufactured here in PA USA. We have three lines of reels from sizes 2/3 all the way up to bluewater 12/15 sizes. All cut from 6061 and 6068 Barstock.

We have three lines of rods as well. Slipstream which are rods from 2 weight up to 6 weight. We then have the Tradewinds Series which is rods from 7 weight to 10 weight. The newest edition is the Leviathan series from 7 weight all the way up to 18 weight.

I never see fishermen put a spinning rod/reel in their mouth to take a fish picture. Why is it so common for fly fishermen?

the same reason a hunter leans the gun or bow on there kill.... its just to show what there weapon of choice was...
