Default 1987 23' Seacraft CC for sale

1987 23' Seacraft Center Console with a Yamaha 225 and Calkins trailer

This is a unique black center console, outboard with a closed transom and bracket, a hard top T-top with spreader light, a leaning post with rocket launcher rod holders on back rest and forward mounted rod holders as well. Custom center console and replacement deck installed by previous owner. Hull has oxidation, but cleans up well with elbow grease.

Other features include:

Bennett trim tabs
Icom VHF radio,
AM/FM/CD stereo,
Raymarine GPS
Furuno Fishfinder
Stainless Garelick Swimladder (transom mount)
2 bilge pumps
4 gunwale rod holders per side + 4 in the leaning post & 6 in the T-Top
Saltwater washdown

1996 Yamaha 225hp OX66 outboard - new Yamaha factory power head installed 3 seasons ago, estimated 120 hours

Mounted on a Stainless Marine transom bracket (installed 3 seasons ago too)

Yamaha controls and gauges and hydraulic steering


Its a very "fishy" boat, had great luck with her over the past 4 years.

I like the enclosed transom on this model. Adds alot to the boat. Was the transom re built when you purchased the boat?

The prior owner told me that this boat was sold from the factory with a closed transom and bracket.

I am not sure. If anything it was an I/O that was converted to an outboard set up.

The bracket it came to me with, was a heavy, tubular steel bracket. It was heavy and too short to allow the Yamaha to lift out of the water because the cowl hit the transom.

The Stainless Marine bracket is much lighter and 30" back. Plenty of room for full tilting and the weight reduction gave her and extra 4-5" of freeboard at the stern.
