I don't have a range of performance. Top speed is 47+/- knts with light load and full fuel. Typical fishing day is 12 hours and consists of a 55 - 60 mile run to blue water, troll most of the day and return late afternoon. Fuel burn is generally between 70 -80 gallons.

I have the exact same boat (1983) with the exact same motors and bracket. I put in at Hillsboro Inlet and went all the way to Marathon. Stopped at every watering hole along the way (left at 9am got there at 6pm) and only burned 45 gals.
I was shocked at how little fuel we used.

Nice boat, good luck with the sale.....

Thanks noelmanheimer. It sounds like good consumption that day. Fuel burn wasn't bad either!

That is an awesome looking transom job. I wished that I could take a spin in her to see how she rides with that bracket. I had a 23 with 115 Zukes. It would ride great and drive like a bass boat. I bet the bracket makes it feel much larger and ride very soft. Very well done sir

Thanks for the compliments. The enclosed transom and bracket make a tremendous difference in the amount of cockpit room and fishability. It rides and fishes like a 26' - 27' footer. The F150's seem to be the perfect combination of power / efficiency for this setup.

You are so right, I must admit though I added close to 300 lbs of lead to the front of mine (had it glassed in) to make it sit level in the water so it would self drain while at rest. I also own a 2003 25' seacraft and the ride of the 23' is very close, may have a lot to do with the added weight of the four strokes, bracket, and lead..... I got lucky and it made the perfect combination for this hull. whoever gets your boat will be lucky and happy. I will try to add some pics of mine for you.

i would like to see photos. The Armstrong bracket was custom designed for the boat with 4 strokes. It is wider and deeper than their standard widebody twin bracket and adds alot of flotation. It actually raised the waterline at the stern an inch or more. I also moved the fuel tank forward to help offset the motors. Send some photos when you get a chance.
