21 Mako w/225 Opti. Rocket launchers, VHF, Garmin 2010C, telescoping outriggers, about 300 hours on engine. Boat has plenty of power and the Optimax runs great. Engine has been flushed after every use and the boat has been thoroughly cleaned as well. Boat tops out at 52 according to the GPS. That's with 1 person, little gas, and no gear. The Opti 225 is great in that it allows you to cruise about 40 to 42 mph with out over taching the engine. With that much motor it also allows you to conserve fuel bc you don't have to run full throttle to get it to perform. I can tell you I ran 45 miles north one day out of Oregon Inlet, trolled all day and then 45 miles back and I burned 38 gallons of fuel. Hope that helps some. I've never looked at all the performance numbers but I fish with some buddies of mine with other 2 stroke engines and they don't get the same performance out of theirs.

Forgot to mention that the GPS has a Chip that covers from VA to South Carolina. And the boat has recessed trim tabs.

So you are saying you ran a total trip of 90 miles plus all day of trolling and only burned 38 gallons??? Is that oil or gas?? Those are some awesome numbers

That's correct. Keep in mind I don't run the engine very hard.
