Not appropriate at all! And for your information I paid 130k for the boat when I bought it! I paid a broker 10k to do the trade! Nick recieved 120k. I have also spent 50k in upgrades and making the boat trailerable! If you can't say anything nice or positve, then butt out!

That is wrong to question anothers price unless you are interested in buying and then do that in private. i was just going to comment on the small sword boated and killed, was that nessessary? Don't get me wrong I would love the chance to catch one but am i wrong to question why you killed such a small one. Don't tell me that fish was over 100 pounds because the guy that boated it lifted it into the boat with one arm very easily. fish mabye went 70-80 right? is that fish mature to spawn? Like i said not trying to be an ass , set me straight so when i have the chance I will know the situation.

Not your pup, he's referring to the sword shown in the video on this thread.

I apologize. I wasn't aware of that. I have always admired that boat and stayed tuned into the first for sale thread until it sold. I guess pointing out the purchase price wasn't too clever on my part so once again, I apologize. One nice boat and good luck with the sale.

You are right about the sword. It was the first sword I have ever caught and thus the reason we killed it! It was a legal fish and also the first on my boat.

I appreciate the apology from spearnreel! There is no doubt that Nick posted what he got when he sold the boat. But that was not what I paid. I have done tons of things to this boat to make it better than any other diesel Sea Vee out there. Besides the new 39 IPS!!!

I keep the boat at my house in Huntsville, TX.

David

David, Nick here. I am sad to see her go from your hands. You have really done a lot to the boat, she looks even better.

I am the previous owner of this boat. I had her for 7 years and treated her like a child. The scars on my hands remind me of her every single day. Scars are not from fixing her, but from maintaining her. That boat never gave me one mechanical issue and was taken care of better than any other boat out there.

As for the price i sold her to david, well, let's just say we gave david a great deal. The boat was an easy 200k boat when david bought it. The market just forced us to drop it to the 130k.

David, i wish you the best and the next owner will sure not be unhappy.

Take care, Nick

poboyntexas,

I have not had her on Lake Livingston but she has been on Lake Conroe a few times. One of the reasons I bought this boat is I wanted a trailerable diesel boat.

Nick,

Thanks for posting. I hate to be selling her so soon.

This is by far the best riding boat I have ever been on. And the fuel economy is outstanding. Unfortunantly, she is just to much boat for me right now. I live 3 hours from were I fish and need something a little easier to trailer and launch. I would like to stay in a similar size range but with outboards. A few of the ramps that I fish from are just to shallow to launch a inboard boat. And the main port that I fish from (Matagorda) is silted in and makes it hard to get my boat out. An outboard boat will solve all of my problems. I will entertain all trades over 30 foot. I am also willing to help in delivering this boat to a new owner. I am planning to try and get pictures of the tower and the trailer over the weekend.

David

Here are some pictures on the trailer with the tower up. I will get some more of it folding this week. Looking for all resonable offers!
