Nice boat Bob, I skippered an '86 Henriques 35, that was by far the strongest, best built boat Ive ever been on. They really know how to make em.

Congrats on the baby, good luck with the sale.

Dan,

I can hit 24 to 25 knots at 3500 rpm which is suggested cruise. I do not run her there though. I have found that she is best at 3200rpm and 20 to 21 knots. I get amazing fuel numbers there. We do 220 mile runs on about 140 gallons of fuel. Even with diesel at 4.25 that is under a $600 canyon trip for us. With where it is at now that would be a $400 run. These boats are known for being bulletproof and extremely fuel efficient.

I have treated this boat like it is my baby. She is very clean and I have put so much into this boat you will not find a more capable 28 Henriques. The list of add ons is ridiculous.

I still can't believe I have put her up for sale. Makes me want to cry just looking at this thread.

Frank, I may take you up on that if I d not have her next year.

Bob,
I wish yothis were a couple years from now, we have the same problem as yopu, a 2 year old boy and a 4 1/2 month old baby girl. But a whopping total of 4 hours on the boat this year!! Hope to spend more time on the water next year...

Dan,

At this point I am of the mindset "if she sells.....great. If not........that's ok too." I know if she sells I may never see a boat like this again.

I will just try and use her more next year.

Bob

Here are pictures of the helm and the awesome Stidd helm chair. For those who do not know, look up Stidd on google. This is the most amazing helm chair.

That is a bad a$$ layout, seems like youved pulled the best units from all the various manufactorers and put em on one console, very nice.

BTW, that Stidd chair truely is a tuff piece of equipment, all of our ships have those for Captains Chairs, Ive been on the Charleston & Houston Pilots boat, both use that style Stidd chair, as well as all the SPECOPS boats we work with at my job & I see at the base marina...if its not leaning posts, its Stidd Chairs.

Wish I was in the market, thats a nice ride

That was the idea. I have always believed that the Furuno sounders are by far the best. I also love Garmin Plotters. If I had it to do over again I would probably have done a full NavNet3d suite but I don't and what I have was the best of what was out at the start of last season.

Romo, I have a feeling we will be killing tuna on her next year again ;-)

Coming out of the water on the 5th. If anyone wants to see her run before spring there is only a few days left.
