Thanks! It has been a great boat. Forgot to mention, hull is under warranty until 2014, and motor is out of warranty

Great boat. I've got an '06. We just spent two weeks on it cruising Cape Cod & the Islands. Pefect blend of cruising comfort and fishing capabilities in my opinion! Good luck with your sale!

Scout is one of my favorite boats and your boat is in excellent condition. How does the 225 push that size boat?

It seems to do just fine. I always run with a full tank, and with 3 people it will run 45-46 wot. No problems getting on plane. The engine has been flawless.

I had an '03 242AB with the 225 for five years (just sold it 6 months ago) and it was an awesome boat.

The 225 is fine for that boat.

Good luck with the sale!

I live on the Cape and looking at a Scout 262, Edgewater 265 or Hydra 26. Anyway, I have a wife a two kids (ages 7 and 4). Is it possible to sleep my crew on the 242 or do you think I need to go to the 262? I run a lot myself back and forth to MV and do not want to get anything bigger then I have to. Thanks.

Bump for an AWESOME picture! I wonder if that is a blue or a Hatchet Marlin. Where did you catch it? Thanks for sharing!

After much debate is was concluded by a few to be a juvenile blue marlin. The strange thing is I caught it about 7 miles north of the nipple off the panhandle bottom fishing in about 220' of water.

It is under the cushion in the 8th picture next to the sink in the cabin. I can get a shot tomorrow.

Great boat! Have enjoyed mine for 2 seasons now and appreciate the balance of it being a great fishing and family platform. Scout service has been great to date as well and there are many great employees who work for the company.
