Had been running a 14x19 prop and was getting about 43mph but rpms were low. Have a 14x17 now but have not been out.
Gas burn was about 6.7gph at about 3400-3600 and a speed of about 30mph. Very pleased with the performance. Of course
I never run one hard so my numbers for gph are usually very good.

43 mph or knots I ran one with a F115 with 3 persons & it did 42 mph ?

If you are referring to the yellow strap...Wal-Mart...just for extra added safety should the other strap break.

As predicted, that didn't last long. A quality boat with an aggressive price and it sells in 2 weeks.
