Default Renaissance Prowler246

I hate the thought of selling this. It is the best 25 foot boat I have ever had or will ever have. However, my marina (IWYC, Carolina Beach) won't handle Cats and the boat ramps around here make me want to carry my Glock whenever I have to use the ramps.

Anyway: 2000/2001 Prowler 246. Twin 150 HPDIs with 400 hours. Mercury Mirage props. Autopilot, Furuno 1850 sounder/GPS with NC and south Florida chips, T-top, windlass, saltwater, freshwater, full cushions, 43 gallon livewell, twin livewell pumps, 3700 gph bilge pumps, AM/FM/CD, Cannon electric downriggers.
Float-on trailer with triple axles. SS Kodiak brakes on front axle, Tie-down vented rotors on second axle.

$54999

Just their policy. I've been arguing for 3 years. This particular boat doesn't even require a cradle.

Did you show them the pictures of it being picked up on renaissance's website, www.renaissancecats.com? They can do it just like a mono hull with the forks on the outside. I know of 2 down here that are stored at a marina and one of them is a 306. All they did was spread the bunks out and set it down on the sponsons. Nothing special needed.

I did show them the pictures and told them it would not take any extra time. However, they have just made it a blanket policy to not handle Cats. Very irritating, especially when I own the slip vs renting.

Local Bump. Hey, did you just pull it out of the WB ramp the other day...wed. I think. I pulled out just before you. Good looking boat.
I Thought to myself, If I were to ever own a Cat...that would be it....very aggressive looking.

It was/is. They may have gone with Bruce Martin, not sure. Anyway, it was them, me and my wife, Bruce and Sandi fishing out of Stuart after picking the boat up in Miami.

I would love to have a cat like that, what are you getting next? I would love to take it on trade for my Hydrasport.
