Yea well we dont need an offshore boat (We fish on a 48 Viking all the time), so we want a nice boat for inshore fishing that has a diesel. With these rising gas prices, a single diesel is perfect. How long has your boat been forsale? I didnt notice. Im gonna hop on over to see your listing. Love that boat

Have you had any problems with the hpdi's yet? Seem to be a lot of comments about the 250 hpdis. What do you burn for gas and oil at cruise and at wot. Just trying to figure out what it would cost to run that rig

thanks capt I put her on the market last week...are you going to make it down to the white marlin open this year? if so, Ill be fishing on a friends ocean...you know, seavee makes a 31 w/ a diesel/and tower...pretty sweet rig...

No we havnt had any problems. The motors are maintained very well. Every season, they get new pumps, plugs, filters, etc. at the beginning.

If my memory serves me correctly, the performance numbers look similar to this:

Cruise: 35knts @ 14-15gph
WOT: 45knts @ 30-35gph
Oil: Depending on how hard we run the motors, we usually burn 1/3 tank for every 100miles we run.

Our friend on the Viking wants to fish that tourney, so theres a chance we might be down there. If so, I'll let you know beforehand. As far as the Seavee goes, my dad wants something with a small cabin for winter fishing, so acc is out of the question.
