Random Quote: Who cares, I scheduled this trip with the wife and we're going somewhere rain or shine.
I’m selling my 1973 Outrage 21 “banana boat” that has spent most of its life on the Great Lakes. It has been in saltwater once since it came down from Ohio last October. The motor is a 1976 Mercury 175 that had about $700 worth of work last season. The motor runs great. The tandem axle trailer is a steel unit that is built like a tank and is rust free. It recently made an uneventful trip from Ohio to SC.
The boat has a bimini, forward dodger, and a mooring cover. The canvas is NOT Mills Bros. No electronics. The boat has dual batteries. The boat is very original (look at the gauges on the console) and is in great condition for its age. The teak is in great shape. The rails are solid and in very good condition. It has some gelcoat cracking in a couple of small areas by the rubrail and a couple small poorly repaired damaged areas on the hull but certainly nothing significant considering the boat's age. Please see the pictures.
I have lots of extra pictures I can email. The boat is in Beaufort, SC and can be sea-trialed with enough notice. Asking price is $8,000. May consider a minor trade-up to a larger keeled inboard (like Shamrock) or a late model smaller inshore boat.
