The price he is asking is what many of the Pursuit 2470's of the same year are listed for.

That's alot of boat for the $ compared to new if the engines
check out! The Ocean pros are reliable but thirsty compared to
late model. Worth a bump!

There is a pair of 2001 yamaha 225 ox66's available on the equipment board for $10,000, add those to this boat and sell the evinrudes and you will have an even nicer package for less money than any other comprable pursuit.

What does it burn per hour at cruise and what range does it have?

Wayne, I do not know the numbers for this particular boat, but I personally owned a late 90's Proline 2610 w/a and had a pair of Merc 200's on it and it burned right at 25 gals. an hour at 30 kts. From what people on the boards have commented about these engines is that they are bullet proof but do like the gas. Like I said in the earlier comment, if you repowered with more effecient motors you would still be in good shape price wise with this boat. Contact Capt. Jim and he can give you more info.

A quick update, the owner is out of town until Jan. 31. He has a deal pending on a piece of real estate and needs to move this boat as part of that transaction. If you are interested in a 28 pursuit this is the one. Look on the "for sale sights" and compare the prices, this one is being offered at wholesale.

my 2870 offshore gets 1.25 mpg at cruise thats about 20 gals per hr at 30 knots the boat is quite fast for its size. i run carb 200 hp yamaha's. with 200 hpdi's the same boat gets 1.8 to 2 mpg at cruise. good luck its a great boat!!!
