Re: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 My appologies about my prior comments.
Prowler is a fine boat and I believe a cat is the way to go in that 22'24 size range.
I would love to own it.
Best of luck with the sale.

Re: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 That's awful. The guy is trying to sell something here, and has to contend with a couple of blockers. He can ask whatever he wants for his boat, and it's the buyers job to negtiate him down.

Re: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 Any interior pics? Would be helpful. Most of us have never seen this model in person. Also, any fuel burn/speed numbers?
Thanks.

Re: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 The boat gets 2.7 to 3.0 mpg at cruise when loaded for fishing. WOT is 43 mph with a light load. The cruising speed is 28 to 32 mph.
I will take and post some interior pictures of my boat in a few days. Interior pictures of the 246 can be viewed on the Renaissance webb site.

RE: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 The Prowlers demand a higher price than WC´s in my experience. Much faster, more economical with smaller engines, harder to find, etc.
WC266´s tend to get beat to death on resale compared to other models in the WC product line.
OBO is OBO, so let the bidding begin.

RE: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 When I sold my Prowler I got $54,000, but I sold it to a friend who let me keep it at his house the whole time I owned the boat. I know I could have gotten more but he did me a huge favor in storing it for free.
Also there was just a Prowler on EBAY that was sunk with 135 Opti's. No trailer. It went for $33,000.

Re: 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 As promised, interior pictures of my Prowler.
Also a picture from Fort Jefferson which is about 70 miles from Keywest. The boat has a range of over 200 miles on 120 gallons of fuel.
Sorry about the delay in posting the interior pictures.

Not to derail your thread, but I wonder how fast that inflatable parked next door with the twin 225's goes! looks fast..

Re: SOLD**SOLD***SOLD* 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 Just curious, but how much did you get for it. If you don't mind telling?
Did you anyone see the Prowler 306 on EBAY?

Re: SOLD**SOLD***SOLD* 2002 RENAISSANCE PROWLER 246 I sold it for $55,000.
I think that it was a good deal for me and the Buyer.
The resale price was 85% of the original purchase price exactly 4 years after I bought it.
The boat was in mint condition.
