This late-model 1999 18’ Outrage is absolutely gorgeous. It has a ton of big-boat features in a small, easy-to-manage package. It was repowered in May of 2004 with a Honda BF150 4-stroke and has only 25.5 hrs. since the repower. The Honda 4-stroke motor is totally reliable, amazingly quiet and will troll all day for pennies…and it is still under warranty until May of ’07. The boat has the Accutrak™ deep-V hull that is typical of all newer Whalers. I have had it out on Lake Michigan in 3-4 footers and it handled them nicely…and like all Whalers, it is unsinkable! It has no bottom paint and has always been stored indoors in the winter.

You and I both had repowered newer Whalers with great results. I'd buy that rig in a second before I spent $43k for a new one with a Verado.

Thanks! Actually, I'm not moving up or down. I already share a Tiara 36' Open with a partner and the Outrage hasn't gotten much use. It's a great boat that deserves to be used...time for it to go to a good home!

Dam........Wish we could have got together while that transom was still bare.*That*Honda's a*great engine package but*I had one(Yam*4str -150)*for it as well.

Thanks, Andy! It was a toss-up between Honda and Yamaha, but I had a friend nearby who was a Honda dealer...that pushed it over the edge. I'm sure I would have been just as happy with the Yam.

We took the Outrage out for the last summer cruise on Sunday. Dosed it up with Sta-bil and ran it around Grand Haven (Lake Michigan) and Spring Lake for a few hours. A beautiful day in the 80's...amazing weather for October here in Michigan.

But the fun doesn't have to end. For those of you in warmer climates, she is ready to roll. I will respectfully listen to any and all offers...and I am willing to deliver.

Fish boxes... coaming boasters.... The Nantucket has none of these. The Honda power should be a huge draw......

Bums me to see it for sale at 2/3 what a new lesser Nantucket goes for.

I agree, NormandyBeach. I like the new Outrage 19 (formerly Nantucket), but this boat is heavier, beamier and has a lot more features. And while your power choices are limited to Mercury power on the Outrage 19, this boat has a new Honda 150...an awesome engine.

Plus it is thousands of dollars less than a new Outrage 19...and both the hull and engine are still under warranty...hard to go wrong!!!
