was thinking the exact same thing. based on std calcs it should be closer to 1.1 maybe 1.2 WOT and somewhere around 2 if you are lucky.

a buddy of mine has one with hondas and never seen that boat above 2.0 MPG even running on fumes.

Going by what the owner told me and a friend that was a Prokat dealer and ran this same boat, she was getting around 2.5-2.8 at cruise with the F225s. I personally can not say. Still better than a mono hull.

Well I own the exact same boat and can tell you from the recent trips I have ran that fuel burn is not realistic...not trying to be negative but I can promise the realistic numbers will not be 2.5-2.8 GPH....at cruise 3900-4000 RPMs (26-28 MPH) I consistently get 1.5-1.75 if it is calm and less than half a tank of fuel and four people on the boat. The fuel economy is much better than a CC and you would have to be in a 32+ foot one to get that ride out of the boat. The ride is awesome; I have two friends that have 32 CC and would rather go in my boat than theirs, due to ride and fuel economy!!! These boats are awesome for taking the wife and kids in due to they have the high gunnels and are so stable!!!

Dorado42, Thanks for the correct info.

gbLUEFIN, The engines have not been scoped to my knowledge but were just serviced and have been flawless. I have the Yamaha mechanic's name and contact info in LA where the boat came from if you would like to talk to him. PM me and I'll get you in touch with him.
