Default 1987 23 SEACRAFT Sceptre

I'm a sucker for a project so I bought this rig I won't have use for it when finished so someone please take it off my hands.

It's a 1987 Hull in good condition. The transom seems good and the decks are solid. It has a bimini with full enclosure that is a little aged but functional. It has a radar arch with Furuno Radar that works. The search and deck lights work. The hatch and cabin door are Azeck and look great. all the boat needs is power. It has a 1998 Johnson 250 that is blown. The trailer has no brakes but is otherwise fine with new tires.

ONLY $4900 including trailer!

DOH! A classic right in my wheelhouse Jay. I'm heading down that way midweek to do some trout fishing, is that boat at the dealership?

That hull rides amazing out here in Hawaii.... it wouldn't last a week on the market! They may look old and outdated, but it's a proven hull that's been copied for along time... just need some imagination and with time, can make a great flybridge out of that boat believe it or not... that's what they do out here... They seal in the transom completely and install a single diesel motor in it... purrs like a kitten and strikes tuna like nothing else!

Cool! It really is a great hull and this boat is in decent shape for it's age. Just add power.

yeah, always loved the look of these. This boat could turn out really sweet.

I saw a 20' version earlier this season. I never knew they made one . . .

Just ran compression on the 1998 250 Johnson. 110,105,65 105,110,105

One bad hole. My guess is the ring went and that it should be an easy rebuild. I could see the top of the pistons in a few holes and they looked really good. The power head itself also looks really clean.

Two batteries, The search light works, windlass works, radar works, deck lights work. Just a couple of pumps and a rebuild or repower.

I'd really like it gone so make me an offer and come get it.....
