Random Quote: I caught wind that the fish were biting here... though it could have just been someone passing gas...
Everything you'd expect from a Pursuit. Clean, solid, runs great. Unique looking with the custom top that anchors at the gunwales. The coverage from sun and rain is fantastic. I personally put the last 650 hours on her, 4,000 RPM's, 26 knots. Have two new young kids and I'm going to move into an enclosed boat next. Need to sell now, as I'm moving out of my waterfront condo and will lose the onsite storage.

Fine trailer, but it hasn't left the property in six years, as I store, launch, and boat front the same property. I would have the trailer serviced before sale to ensure roadworthiness.

Reason: sold
Thanks guys. Someone asked me for additional helm pictures. I took my "for sale" pix after I took the electronics out for shrinkwrapping, that's why I dug up that other picture of my buddy lounging on the forward seating. What you see there is pretty much it. Raymarine 12" color screen, chartplotter, DSM, radar, radio/cd player, vhf, yamaha guages, stainless steering wheel, panel of switches, trim tab controls.
What s the wot speed and do you know the deadrise on the boat. How is it in rough seas? thanks email [email protected]
I think the deadrise is 21 degrees. Honestly, I'm not even sure what the wot speed is. I've been driving this boat around Long Island Sound for six years, and I've never pinned it...just don't run it like that. Rarely, I push it to 4600 just to stretch it out, but only briefly.
Rough seas: I think it's great. Feels substantial and solid. Doesn't "bang". Trim tabs are very effective, can deliver a comfortable ride for the wife and kids.

If you go onto www.pursuitboats.com and click on boat models and then archives, you can find the 2470. They have newer test reports which showed a 2470CC equipped with twin 115hp 4 strokes with a top speed of 42mph. Deadrise is indeed 21 degrees.
I had a chance to see this boat this weekend. It's number #2 on my list after an Edgewater I'm eyeing. This boat is attractively priced and well maintained by its owner who really knows his way around this boat who speaks quite honestly about it, what's great and maybe what is not so perfect (no boat is perfect). Oh, and the Raymarine radar package is very nice surprise as well. Someone will get a great boat for the money.
I think it's 3,300 dry & no engines, which isn't helpful....I believe it's right around 4,000 pounds, depending on the fuel and fresh water onboard. Tank holds 160 gallons of fuel. I believe the freshwater tank holds ten gallons. Figure you carry half a tank of fuel and a full tank of water, 540 pounds, add in gear....4,000. My truck is check out for 5,500, and it hauls it with no problems.
Cleaning out the garage. Also including w/ boat sale:
10 Coast Guard approved life jackets
Pair of Yamaha engine covers
Lower unit oil pump
New zincs
West Marine dry box for flares and first aid kit
New water pumps, still in box (doesn't need them yet)
Have you sold the boat yet. I have a 1997 for sale here in NC. Great shape and outfitted for offshore fishing and have gotten what I consider CRAZY low offers. Just trying to figure out if I should lower my expectations or if they are trying to low ball me. I inherited the boat when my dad passed and its just too much boat for me but I cant see giving it away.
Thanks for any help and good luck if you haven't sold it yet.
