Oh, and it is turnkey and laid out to fish.

I think he is looking for a little advice as to what is a good boat for that kind of money......
I would highly recommend the 23' Regulator with a 4stroke and forward seating. You should be able to find a very nice, reliable boat for that kind of money.

Oh yeah, and try boatrader and yachtworld.

What he said ^^^^ x2.

Get ready for every single boat owner trying to sell his boat to come running. A buyer waving $50k is like blood in the water.....

You need to decide what you want. The general list that you provided covers about 60% of the boats listed as For Sale.

Do you want a Regulator or a Mako? Walk-around or a CC? Fuel economy? Seating? Crusing or fishing?

I'm not trying to sell my boat, but it sure fits the criteria. 2010 Sea Hunt 24' Gamefish, Yammy f250b, full curtains, aluminum bunk trailer, Standard Horizon VHF, 8' Shakespeare antenna, taxes, tags all just under your $50K target. Have now been out 30 miles caught a tuna and dolphin and am having an absolute ball!

The 25' Gamefish someone mentioned above is wider and I think can take twins if you want (which I'm sure would kill the $50K limit). With a single you still might be able to get there...

Lotsa' good boats out there, but you owe it to yourself to check out Sea Hunt in your search. Good luck!

First, let's talk size.

What size do you want?

Will a 23' cut it? If so, you should be able to find either a Regulator or Contender that meets your needs.

I just went through the same analysis. I ended spending a little more.

Here were the boats that I looked at:
26' Regulator (this is what I ended up geeting)
31' Contender
28' White water
29' Sea Vee

Also, Intrepids and Jupiters are very nice.

Regarding specific boats I believe that there is still a 28' White Water CC (with a small cabin up front) w/ twin 225 4s Yamahas. The engines have under 100 hours on them are still under warantee. Best of all the boat is for sale within your price range, and is located near Wilmington, NC.

Also, I have seen some very nice 02' and 03' 26' Regulators with nice power packs that could be had for around $50k.

Good luck.

Peter
