I swear, half the people don't comprehend what they read !

OP already said -

Center console

Twins

Fast hull

These criteria alone rule out half what you guys are throwing at him - sounds more like a 27' or larger sport/fish boat to me...Fountain, Scarab, Donzi, etc..

Mine meets that criteria, plus family, and fuel efficient ! Maybe he hasn't thought of CATS?

Sounds to me like all responses did comprehend what he was looking for and are trying to help the guy find a boat. I haven't seen a lot of fountains or donzi's in that price range myself. So try to help the guy out.. you posted nothing that would help him...

I have a buddy that has a 3070 Pursuit with twin 225fs that is ready to sell he has a new boat already. I must say it fit the family and fishing. Contact me and I will give you his information richardboles@bellsouth.net

lumberman - my apologies, I worded that too harsh to begin with; what I meant was, OP sounded like he wants more of a performance boat, and 23'-27' pure fish craft, esp single engine, don't fit what he asked for.

As for suggestions, I would have pointed to my 328SCX with twin 250EFI's, but that would have sounded too biased pointing at my own boat, so I left it out of my response, and chose PM instead.

it all depends what and who is reading it.. what I consider fast and you consider fast might not be what the poster wants.. Offshoreonly is where you fast guys need to be.. oh ya, I post over there too

Get a 2001 or newer Regulator 26FS with 200 hpdi's.. best combination for all your needs, and you wont get a more comfortable and seaworthy ride in a 26 foot boat.
