Nice boat. Good luck. We fish a 38 with quad 250s. I have never seen anywhere near 1.5mpg, though.

I have been on this boat guys. It shows like new and is a beauty. I have never felt that kind of power in any boat in my entire lifetime. Nothing to get your heart moving like blowing through the gulf at 80 plus mph! She truly is a special, one of a kind fishing machine that will make some owner very happy. I know Chris has got to be sick selling this thing! Good luck Chris, and hope to see you guys down in OBA soon

exactly,

I plan to get something that trailers a little easier for the summer, and then move back into a 38' when they clean up this mess. There is no sense in having this baby sit on the trailer all summer when one of you guys can be slinging some blood on her decks.

Thanks for the compliments, everything is going good for me. I just can't look at her on the trailer all Summer.

I saw about a 20% decrease in fuel burn when I repowered the Hooters boat from 250's to 300's. The 300's burn less fuel and are moving the boat faster. The boat honestly gets 1.2 mpg loaded in the Gulf at 55-60 mph. She will get 1.5 mpg light in flat water at 55 and 1.2 mpg light at 70 mph

So sad to see you sell her. In my opinion, the best/nicest Fountain you have owned to date. I am thinking this boat sells quickly. Good luck Chris!!!

Chris, I just saw your post under the photo section and thought to my self "Maybe by the time he sells this quad I will have a little more cash laying around". I then go to the for sale section and all be dam- here it is. Problem is that in those 2 minutes my cash situation didnt change! (trust me, thats what the wife said!)

Good luck

This boat is just as bad as they get - & by bad I mean good...

Good luck w/ the sale - at least it doesn't look like you will be boatless anytime soon, but alot of us will be sorry to see this one leave your stable. It is always interesting to hear your input on such a hi-performance rig.

Chris, this is my dream boat. I have the link to your Youtube video on my facebook page. I would love to have her but I can't see paying a note on a boat with the current situation in the Gulf. Breaks my heart to see you sell her. I always looked forward to seeing your new videos. By the way guys, I bought a couple of rod n reel combos from Chris a few years ago and they were everything he sais they would be. Point I'm trying to make is he takes care of his equipment. Good luck with the sale.

I am so sorry to hear that the oil spill is causing you to sell this beauty. I have enjoyed your videos of her in action. I hope the mess gets cleaned up soon, or i will be doing the same as you. Best of luck with the sale.

Damn homey should snap this one up... Sounds like you have it dialed in, and it is faster than his boat.
