Default SOLD SOLD!!!!!!!! 1972 23' Seacraft

Gotta put this out there first- this is NOT my boat! It belongs to a good friend of mine.

He owns a hauling business, and will deliver this boat within a certain distance. Also will negotiate delivery outside of his 'certain' distance. Boat does not have a trailer. We can get you a brand new Venture tandem aluminum bunk trailer for roughly $3k. Boat comes with all safety gear- flares, extinguisher, PFD's, anchor w/rope and chain.

All fiberglass work listed done by New England Fiberglass LLC, of Norwalk, CT. Owner: Bob Mills.

All engine repairs, and wiring/electronics done me. I am a 5 star certified Yamaha Tech. I have taken and passed all classes that Yamaha currently offers in there Marine University. I have been installing new electronics on boats for the past 8 yrs. I work for the number one fishing boat dealer in Fairfield County, All Seasons Marine Works.

All fiberglass work done in winter of 2007. All engine work and wiring done in early spring of 2008.

Now for the boat, here are the specs.

Hull:

1972 23' Seacraft center console
Imron paint (bootstripe and hull color)
New transom
Decks repainted with non-skid, same color as bootstripe and t-top/leanpost

Boat equipment:


T-top and leaning post powder coated grey
Birdsall lean post with 4 rocket launchers
New eisenglass enclosure in 2007
2 Rule 800GPH bilge pumps with float switches
Rear livewell- in front of motor, has pump to fill well, and to empty well
Two fuel tanks, front 45 gallons, rear 50 gallons (all new hoses and sending units)
OMC System check gauges
Dual batteries, Blue Seas switch
Ancor marine grade tinned copper wiring and connectors
Blue Seas accessory switch panels
New steering cable
New throttle and shift cables
Lenco 12x12 trim tabs
Bow cushion (not pictured)


Engine:

1996 Evinrude 200HP (carb, not Ficht!)
Roughly 150-175 hours since rebuild, NO HOUR METER
Powerhead rebuilt in summer of 2008 (new rings, pistons, bearings, block honed)
New VRO pump 2008
New power trim and tilt assembly 2008
OMC Viper stainless 3 blade prop


Electronics:

Furuno Navnet Radar/GPS unit (on console, next to gauges)
Furuno fishfinder (in t-top box)
Furuno 2KW 18" radar
Airmar transom mount triducer
Standard Horizon VHF w/DSC
Jensen DVD player (wired for portable monitor)
Seaworthy AM/FM CD player
2 speakers (I dont remember brand, mounted in t-top box)
8' Shakespeare VHF antenna

EDIT:
Got a couple emails asking for cruise/WOT numbers. She cruises at 23-25 knots depending on load and gear. WFO she does 34 knots. Burns 11-13 GPH cruise.


I think everybody that knows these boats, and that is interested, knows how they ride. It pretty much speaks for itself! I wish he put it up for sale last year before I bought my boat!!!!!

Forgot to mention, if boat doesnt sell within a month, it will most likely be launched. From there we can set up a water test.

While boat is on land, sale will be finalized contigent of test ride (sign contract, then drive boat, if all is good- which it will be, finalize after test).

This stops people from coming down for "test (joy) rides".

Crazy8 can you tell me how the deck drains in this boat, pics do not show inside scuppers or transom drain holes and flapper?

The deck drains are in the floor (OEM setup). If you look at the third pic from the top, starboard side, below the fuel selector valve, you can just see where the grey paint on the floor curves around the drain hole. The drain tubes were replaced when the boat was redone- the proper way. The floor was reinforced underneath the tubes, all the way down to where the drains are in the hull.
