I keep my boat in a slip and have never had a problem with the trolloing motors. We applpy a special anti fouling spray paint on them which gets us through the season. I've replaced props a couple times....but they are plastic and only cost $18.

So that is 40mph top end? What speed is the 1.6 mpg cruise at? Also, is the boat 27 from bow to stern or to the end of the bracket?

Yes, 40 mph is top end. Cruises around 32mph at 1.6mpg.
The boat is 27ft from bow to stern. The bracket extends out approx 2 more feet.

I have fished on this boat with Lou for a number of years. I can attest to how well it fishes the back bays as well as running out 50 miles. I can personally vouch for how clean the boat is - based on my "hands on" experience!

Good Luck with the sale Lou!

Thanks.....

I'm now entertaining bay boat trades. I just bought a bigger boat and I'm looking for a 16-17 ft center console for skinny water. Please point any interested captains my way. Thx.

Something like a 17' mako, a Carolina Skiff, a Sundance etc. ....I know one's a vee, and the others are flat bottoms but either will work.

Ideally the boat will have a reliable engine and a value under $15K, or something that is much cheaper but can be repowered for a total cost under $15K, so that I can get the bay boat plus approx $45K.
