Reason: New Boat MFG added
Actually, it's a very clean boat that's priced about right. Market conditions, maybe? I'm passing this ad along to a buddy that's looking for a boat this size.
It's mainly the market and the ability to get any financing. When I sold my 236 I was planning to move up to this boat. However, the economy took a dive. I lost my job and had to live off savings for awhile. Now I'm working again but making less money. So at this time an offshore boat is on hold until the wife is working as an RN. We also had a surprise baby girl. This rig is exactly what I was looking for. It's a very nice boat. I'm constantly searching what's for sale and unfortunately for a seller, there are a lot of really nice boats for good prices. I'm not saying you're priced too high, but you may need to come down for a quick sale. If that's what you're looking for. Good luck.
Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I have been one of the fortunate ones and haven't been hit too hard by the economy...
She really has been a great boat, but I have made my mind up that I want to move to a 23ft Everglades or Scout and I want time to shop it before the summer months come on.
Please pass along the link to anyone that might be interested.

Take a look at the other rigs currently for sale on boat trader where you have this one...they sit around until the prices drop and then they sell....really tough market to sell...great to buy...i am looking and an 07 will run around 50k with the newer yamaha 4 strokes..good luck
Here are the performance spec's from the Yamaha Website based on an '02 Sailfish 266 with F-225's
RPM MPH GPH MPG Db
1000 5.7 2.2 2.59 66
2000 9.3 5.4 1.72 79
3000 25.2 9.1 2.77 84
4000 37.3 14.5 2.57 88
5000 47.1 25.1 1.88 91
6100 56.9 42.3 1.35 96
Based on crusing information, they are real close to performance readings from the Yamaha Fuel Mgmt System on the boat. Sailfish did not have a significant hull change until '05.
I love the 26' sailfish and that is what I want to evenually get. I have a 2009 22' Nautic Star OS with Yam 225 that you would probably like; although doesn't carry the scout/everglades name, but its definately an ''under the radar boat.'' Love the boat though, and good luck with the sale.
Sailfish:
Good looking rig. Unfortunately, the down economy and outlook on increased fees and taxes has many people, who could otherwise afford a boat purchase, in a holding pattern.
jt05, thanks for the input on Nautic Star. I was just checking our the hull design and layout on-line and it is a good fit for what I am looking for....thanks again.
Thanks creekman! I think it will move pretty quick with the weather warming up and Grouper Season opening up tomorrow here in the Gulf. It has range, ride and power.....
