Boat looks great but can you send me more. captjeff.evans@gmail.com

also what performance numbers are you seeing with the Etecs?
Have they been run on the 100 or 50 oil?

My neighbor has the same boat and setup. He claims over 50+ mph a WOT and a 2 mpg cruise.

Thanks Jeff i will try to get more pictures out, I always used the 50 oil, At a good cruise of 32 -34 knots I will burn very close to 25 gph. Yes it will do 55 WOt. But I don't get quit 2mpg more like 1 - 1 1/2 mpg ... To be honest The boat , old motors and new motors have done me well . I bought it new in 2000 and repowered in 06 , All done by Atlantic Outboard in Westbrook Ct.

Still available? My buddy is looking for a 28 (2796) like this. Are you upgrading, if so, to what?

What/Where is Biloxi.. I see you have had a few Hydras' , I think my boat was the best bang for the buck when i bought it new in 2000, its only up for sale cuz i had such a lousy year in business last year, if things keep looking better though i may take it off the market , How did you like all your hydra-sport boats ?

I liked them enough that the 2796/2800 Hydra will most likely be my next (and hopefully last) boat once I get back in the market for an offshore boat. The fact that you bought yours new and liked it enough to repower it is a true testament to Hydra-Sports. Very solid boats.

Exactly , I thought it was worth repowering especially since i got the 7 year warranty and my dealer is great, the boat has gotten me everywhere a contender,yellowfin,seavee.etc. has gone, maybe the ride isnt always as good in certain conditions . But the boat has held up well for offshore use ,There are ALOT of opinions out there of every boat i will only speak for what i have and the 2796/2800 is very good for every kind of fishing, from shallow water light tackle to overnight northeast canyons , i have proved that . if i end up keeping it i won't need another boat . i just turned 42 and i still love Center Consoles and don't need a cabin ..for a NEW boat at the time my boat was 30,000. less than a 26 Regulator or 27 Contender, so i still feel it was the the best choice with money taken into consideration.

Fish on a charter boat with F250's

Boat is a beast-great fishing platform stable and rides really good for its size/beam

Good luck with the sale-Really impressed with this boat model

In early 06 I blew a motor and the warranties had expired the year before so decided to repower with the e-tecs and get 7 year warranty rather than start dumping money on the old ones , Atlantic Outboard took them both and gave me a few grand towards the new ones. They were decent motors though They were the Fixed Fichts'

Is this a Vector Series? Does it have a head in the CC?

I am looking to upgrade and this is the size and make that I am targeting.

Yes Vector series , It came with a porta potti . I never used it , i took it out but i still have it to go with the boat, there is 6' head room in the console not alot of room to move around but enough to use the porta potty.

Thanks for the information. I am certainly interested. Where is it currently being stored? Is that in Walingford, CT.? Is it available for viewing during the winter?
