Default ***2004 21' Contender w/ 200 Yamaha HPDI - Off The Market***

The way shes built, the way she takes the sea and a million other reasons are why Contender is far and away the best sport fishing boat you can buy. Whether you realize it or not, when you buy a Contender you join a very elite club. This meticulously maintained 21 Contender is truly one of a kind. She has a big boat attitude wrapped up in one package. Fully tuned Yamaha 200 HPDI with stainless steel prop, only 245 Hours and Yamaha engine cover included. Flush mounted Garmin 2006C Chart Plotter/Depth Sounder with 2 Blue Chart cards included (Gulf Coast & Outer Banks of NC). Furuno 1712 Radar. Sony Marine 4 Speaker Surround Sound Stereo with XM, CD Player, and flush mounted Marine Remote Commander. Cockpit coaming pads. Onboard tackle storage. 30 gallon live well with clear lid. Custom built forward casting platform with storage and snap on seating pad. Lenco Trim Tabs with indicators. Lenco Troll n Trim Trolling Motors with remote control and 2 independent batteries. Deck flood lights. Cockpit fluorescent lighting. Deluxe leaning post with seat storage and back rest. Cockpit wind screen with attachments for wings. Custom T-Tops with lifejacket storage. I-Com Marine Radio with dual digital antennas. 4 gunnel rod holders. 4 T-Top mounted rocket launcher rod holders. Onboard battery charging port. Forward cooler seating. Remote oil fill port. Pop up cleats. Color matched phone booth style cockpit cover. Magic Tilt Dual Axel Trailer with new brakes, actuator, and winch. LED trailer lighting. 2 starting batteries with Perko battery switch. Racor fuel filter with clear bowl. Raw water washdown pump with hose included. Engine just had 200 hour service including new water pump. You will not find a nicer used 21 Contender on the market! Asking $39,000 and very willing to negotiate. Please call John at 252.202.4021 and visit the below website for more information and pictures.

No brokers/dealers please! I am off to grad school next year at Purdue, and as much as it breaks my heart to lose this boat, there is not much use for a Contender in West Lafayette, IN...as if I would have the time anyway! That being said, I cannot accept trades.

Price reduced to $32K. I've only got a few weeks left to make a sale, or I have to commit to putting the boat in storage on 21 June. I challenge you to find a comparable boat with comparable options at a better price. She also comes rigged with all my cleaning and servicing supplies, spare trailer parts and boat parts, boat hook, PDFs of all manuals including the HPDI service manual, nets, gaff, life jackets, flare kit, lines, and fire extinguisher! I'll even throw in a free cup holder...make it 2 free cup holders!

Honestly, I don't think it would remove too easily without some fiberglass work. I'm not sure why anyone would want to remove it, though. Along with the remote for the Lenco Troll 'N Trim motors, you've got a great fly fishing platform that you can use to "sneak up" on the fish without running your outboard or heading back to the helm. With the hatch built in the middle of the platform, you now have A LOT of extra storage space (I keep my fenders, lines, first aid kit, tackle, and flare kit in there). If you look close in the pictures, there are also snaps on the platform. I have a vinyl seating pad that covers the entire platform and secures with snaps for an entire bow seating area if you want to take the family out. The fish hold is still easily accessible from the aft hatch, and there is no loss of space there. I don't really see the downside of the platform... Granted, everyone has different tastes, I just think there are a lot of "extras" gained by having the platform. I can send pics with the seating pad installed if anyone is interested. Look closely at the pictures on my website:

One last ditch effort before I consider contacting a broker, or putting the boat in storage until I'm finished with grad school... All reasonable offers considered.

Since so many are asking...No, there is no bottom paint on this boat. The green is a very well maintained gel-coat.

This hurts...no haggle price...$32K and she is yours. You will be getting A LOT of boat for well under what she's worth.

I wish I could move my 25' SeaCraft. This is the exact boat I am looking to down-size too.

Off the market for now. She's off to storage for a year starting this week. Too bad things didn't work out...
