Default 15K to spend on fishing boat and trailer...

I just sold my Sea Ray ski boat and want a fishing boat, here's a short list of my requirements:

- 15K MAX (Cash in hand)
- 21-25'
- 8' 6" beam max
- Trailer
- Center Console, Duel Console or WA
- Fishing boat
- Outboard engine(s)
- No bottom paint preferred

I want to be in my new boat for the spring flounder season

Tom,

Here's a link to my 2005 Sailfish 198 Dual Console w/ Yamaha 115 4 stroke (2 years left on Yamaha extended warranty) . It's a just under your size requirement, but it's a great riding boat, good for fishing, and you'll have a little extra cash leftover. Boat is near Baltimore, MD

Thanks,

Jim

Mark Hendersons rig would be perfect for the price..and I am sure he has some wiggle room figured in there. .That's a clean, well equipped rig. What kind of an area are you fishing for flounder in? They are usually shallow, so you don't need to go to anything too big. And you won't find a better 4 stroke than a Honda..they were the first and still the best as far as I am concerned..and I own Yamahas..

And then there's the Sailfish!! That's also a good rig. I have 4 stroke 115 Yamahas and they, too are pretty bulletproof. I like the enclosure. Our boat before this one was a dual console and they give you more protection than the CC when you have a few more people on board. Either of these two rigs should suit you..

I would mainly fish the long island sound and the great south bay, would love to have offshore capabilities but realize my limitations.

Mark,

Nice boat but I'm concerned about the low gunnel in the bow and lack of a bow rail.

I live in NY, picked up my last boat in MD so I'm open to the east coast. Would even travel south to GA or FL for the right boat.

Nice boat but lacking a hard or soft top is a concern, I assume there's no bimini.

nope. that was gonna be the next thing i do if i was keeping it. A guy here in grasonville quoted me $400 for a 7' bimini but i held off to get a t-top instead. my dad and i have since decided to upgrade to a larger boat

Out of courtesy to other members of THT, I have not bumped my ad back to the top...as a result its down to page 3.

That said, since everyone is shameless promoting their ads, I may as well do the same

http://www.thehulltruth.com/boats-sa...-000-firm.html

238' 2004 Sea Pro, trailer in great shape, boat is in great shape. no bottom paint, 8' 6" beam, ttop, electronics, big fish boxes, 2 25 gallon livewells for your flounder liver bait, great curtains for someone up North like you, new coaming pads, walk in console with head turn key fishing boat with only 247 hrs on entire rig.

I know it is a little more than you said 20,000 but man this boat fits your listing perfect. I would be willing to deliver it for you also to save you some hassle.
If you would like to talk please call me. I want this boat gone.
