Default Blackfin 24 Project

I've got a 1978 Blackfin 24 single inboard, express hull. This is a project that I have been working on in my free time over the past three-four years and now want it gone. It has a 24 degree deadrise and is an awesome hull. If you are not familiar with it, do a search.

The good:
Hull is very solid
Stringers are also solid
Most of the floor is solid
The top cap was removed and recored
Fuel tanks have been removed
I have a transmission but have no idea of its' condition

The bad:
All the floor hatches need to be recored
Hull bottom had bistering that was ground out and reglassed. Still needs alot of fairing.
Gel-coat is in bad shape need lots of sanding and fairing
No hardware (windsheild, cleats, rodholders, ect.)
No motor
No trailer

It is what it is. It would make a great boat. You could repower with a single diesel or put a bracket on with outboard power. The layout could be any combination you could think of: open Center Console to an Express style boat.
The boat is located in upstate S.C. and I'm asking $900.00

Inboard, originally had a 454 big block with a velvet drive transmission. I've got the tranmission and some of the hardware for the shaft. But do not have the original outboard style rudder. There is a company in Florida that make the original rudders.
I've got mixed feelings about getting rid of it but I've got alot of things on my plate at the moment and may be moving on top of that. I grew up fishing on a Blackfin like this one that my dad owned. They are great boats. Here is a pic. of my dads around 1985.

No trailer, at that price.

I can find a trailer, but the price goes up.

Guys ,I'm not a salesman, but this is a classic, blank slate, ready to be restored, in any combination, hull. Center console, express, diesel inboard, bracketed outboard ANY COMBINATION YOU WANT!!

Yes it needs more work, but the stringers, hull, and top cap are solid.
So you have a good base to start from.

COME AND GET IT !!!
