Why do some of the advertizers block out the registration #'s? I know that the name and address of the boat owner can be obtained with this info. What is the worst case scenario?

With all the thefts these days, I wouldn’t want to make it any easier for someone to pinpoint the location of my boat. Especially if I had included nice pics of the boat, trailer, and surrounding area with a comment like, “On the trailer and ready to go.”
