2004 Dux Performance Inflatable BOAT IS LIKE NEW
This boat is one of the fastest and safest inflatable boats on the market. This boat was only used one time with at 15hp Yamaha. With this motor the boat was able to reach 29 mph with a 200lb guy. With its true tunnel hull design the boat will lift and ride on the high jacker sponsons which allow the boat to be fast and nimble. With a 50hp motor these boats reach speeds over 60mph with two people.
The boat was bought with the intensions of using as a dingy, but work interfered with the Bahamas trips and we sold the big boat so this one has to go too.
Specifications:
Dux Inflatable boat Length: 13ft Max HP: 70 Recommended HP: 40-50 Max Persons: 4 Boat weight: 170lbs
These boats were designed to be race boats and are built to take a beating. It has been stored in an air conditioned warehouse and has not seen any abuse what so ever. If interested please call:
wow, cool. looks like a load of fun for little money.
get a 50 hp 2 stroke and let the fun begin!
But with the crazy intentions one gets from watching the utube link, where do they pack the fuel cell so it doesn't end up strangling the captain or crew or go overboard in the "fun"?
Could this be used with a outboard with a jet leg or only prop?

Reason: added a ques.
The race fuel cells are just like a bladder that attaches to the center of the boat. I believe that they hold 10-12 gallons. I never got the boat for racing and only used a 15 hp Yamaha with a 6 gallon tank that you get a west marine. It is a fun boat even with the small hp. A 25 would push the boat in the low 30’s with 2 people and fuel..
I don't know about a jet leg, I have seen prop guards on the outboards and I know that guards are mandatory for racing. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea even for recreational use.....
These boats with 40-50 hp motors will flat run, and in a lot of people’s opinion are more fun and cheaper then jet skis. Plus when you are done with it. It will fold up into a small space.
These inflatables are cool, and if you go to youtube you can see a couple that are running 70 hp motors. There are a few that are blue printed and bored out to make over a 100hp on a boat that weighs less then 200lbs....
I am sure that there can be some sort of starboard added to keep the water out, but the boat was designed to have an open transom. The reason for this was incase of a large wave coming over the bow while in a race the boat would drain in a matter of seconds. If you watch the youtube video you will see why they design these boats this way. Thank you for the interest.
I purchased a Dux Boat in the spring of 07 after getting it home and inflating it i found over 17 seam air leaks the floors didn't fit and the instructions were terrible
they claim that the pump is designed to automatically pop off at 6 psi i contacted the pump manufacture regarding there pump and the valves used in the dux and no such function was designed into the pump the inner bladder instructions were inflate like a soft pillow when i contacted dux i was told to send it back at my expense $700 both ways i eventually was able to repair it myself the second spring i was getting it ready as per the instructions and it exploded violently
once again i was told to send it back at my expense i requested a new boat and was told that because they were a new company the best they could do was sell me a new boat with a very small discount

Wow, nice first post!!!!
This boat was sold a while ago and I actually forgot I had it on here still. I can say that the boat was perfect for us when we used it and that was very little. This was our second Dux and the factory was alwasy great to deal with too.

You sir, need to troll some place else.
Dear sir
Glad you had great service and the boat was perfect for you
everything i wrote is true and want everyone to know how poor there service has been and also the poor quality of the build
sorry if this hurt your feelings
unless you have a personal interest in the Dux brand
i don't see why you should be so upset
and thanks for your support
The boat was sold almost a year ago. I have no problem with people opinoins, except when they are not warranted. You sir had nothing productive to say. Like I said before, go troll somewhere else.
