Rob,

Oh no, say it ain't so! You got all that new power and all the other important stuff replaced. Why you selling her now You can't beat the fuel mileage on an Alby, not to mention the ride! Good luck with the sale.

Hal, I built a house down near the water (outside Chincoteague VA) and don't have 2 trailer as much anymore so I can go a little bigger. Plus my son and his buds r wanting to fish with me all the time and the 24 gets a little cramped w/more than 4. I know I'm going 2 regret it cuz there are few boats in its class that can take what she can. She's visited all canyons off DelMarVA, ran deep in OI, Hatteras and Southport...she ain't afraid!

Ed she's been as good a ride as I ever could have asked. U know its been 6 yrs now since I bought it from u. Regarding the rust stains, that was from the old exhaust I guess rusting. I never cared about pretty, just that she did her job. FWIW the new engine had all new exhaust components (risers and manifolds).

Rob,

What's your cruise speed at 3,400 rpm with the new power/outdrive setup?

At 3400 she'd b doing about 25kts w/the B5's on her. I run her at 3200 and run 21/22 kts depending on load (shes normally fat ). I know the new vortec like 2 spin more than old 260hp engines but I'm old school I guess. Man, boats must not b selling cuz an Albe at this $ is a steal.

Yes, and you have a real nice trailer under it too. Most of the Albemarles I see for sale have no trailer with them so that is a big plus for this boat!

U ain't lying Hal. I checked all the other outlets (yachtworld, etc) and nothing comes close to this boat. It's a total turnkey package.

For that price Terp, I believe she will sell soon. Good boat to get out of the weather on the chilly days and slicing that fall slop. Good luck. George

Updated to reflect new boat location and that I'm leaving the JRC 4kw 48 mile open array radar on the boat as part of the sale.

Heck for that price someone ought to buy it just to have for a second boat. You could part it out and make money on it

For those who haven't run the 24 Alby before....these little boats will amaze you. They don't know they're little......kinda like the Jack Russell Terrier of the boat world. You won't get that kind of offshore ride in anything anywhere close to triple that price. Try it you'll like it.
