Performance wise, I have been as fast as 58mph (light) but cruise around 38-40mph at 3800-4000 rpm’s (depending on the load). I never do worse than 1.5 mpg (loaded to fish and lots of gas) even in substantial seas with lots of tab. When taking it easy, 2-2.2 mpg is attainable. I would say I average about 1.8mpg on fishing trips, all day long with a normal chop / seas. I think the 225’s are the perfect set up for this boat!
I've had a couple requests about the trailer. It has Stainless Steel Disk Breaks, Radial Tires and a Spare Tire. Here is a pic of the boat on the trailer. I'll try and get a couple pics of the trailer by itself this weekend.
I have towed it with both a regular Ford Expedition and also have a F250. The 1/2 ton Expedition will tow it fine but obviously, the 250 makes it easier. Thanks for the compliment.
Man do I love these boats and it has a very nice price on it as well. I was at the Norwalk Boat Show yesterday in CT. and the price for new boats is insane. Why would you buy new when you could have something turn key like this for 50K +/-. Bump for a beauty!!!
Thanks smanni... Not quite sure what I'm doing next. Either a larger cc or some kind of express. I'll start serious shopping once this one is gone. It's been a great boat!
