Performance numbers...recently hit 59mph at 6000rpm with 89 octane fuel in 90degree weather with 50 gallons of fuel. Cruise the same day was 39mph burning 22gph. I usually cruise at 45-50mph at 35gph depending on load. I run the boat about once or twice a week. Today we hit 58mph with 150 gallons, full cooler, and 3 people. Air and water temp were 85 degrees. With some prop work or in cooler weather this boat should reach 63mph @ 6300 rpm's before seeing the rev limiters.
im not sure what brand of transducer it has, but it is a bronze thru hull transducer.....i usually pick up bottom on my runs to Bimini across a calm Gulf stream doing about 40-45mph. Depth will be around 2000-2500ft across the stream. It is located just out of the bilge picture....you can see the thick wire that leads to it. I will try to find out specifics. The price is to try to weed out the lowballers and just get down to serious buyers for a quick sale.
depends on how fast u wanna go?.....depends on the conditions just like any other boat, but 35mph comfortably usually in any type of non-small craft advisory sea.
I'm pretty sure that the camera or the one holding it is shaking, and not the console or t-top. I say this because I tried filming at high speed myself and got the same "shaking" look results
i mounted the camera on a flexible camera mount and it is doing all the shaking....i posted another video. This is going into a short stiff headsea chop in Biscayne Bay.....wind was blowing about 20knots. I have the nose buried with tabs and the it's full with 350 gallons of gas, so the economy isnt what it usually is.
boat is located in Miami....no trailer and never been bottom painted. If i had a wishlist, it would be autopilot. I dont use outriggers cuz it is just too much work for me usually fishing solo. I use 3 flatlines and a downrigger and that is plenty.
As for cored hull......This hull is completely vacuum bagged, corecell, carbon/kevlar. They vacuum bagged the entire hull by request. It is alot more work and they dont feel like they lose much with the way they do it now. I prefer totally vacuum bagged and that is how mine was built. Pics of the build available. There is no balsa in the hull.
The hulls are made with 100% vinlyester resin, Kevlar and corecell foam. Components of the boats are bonded together mechanically (thru-bolted) and weld-on. The hull and hatches are vacuum bagged. All open areas and voids are filled with 4lb closed cell marine foam to make the boat quiet and unsinkable. The hardware is all 316 stainless and the fuel tanks are .250” aluminum.
