I have the same boat and had the same power. It would top out at around 36 mph and cruise at 26 or so. Not a speed demon but never had any problems doing with it what I wanted - ran 42 miles off Ocean City Md, 50 miles out of Oregon Inlet.

Definitely a nice boat at a fair price.
