Thanks for the compliment.

She cruises at 18kts @ 2500 RPM. She burns only about 5.5 GPH at that RPM. Range would be well over 100 nautical miles.

I haven't check the speed at Max RPM, but the engine will turn almost 5000 RPM's. You can clearly tell the boat past its hull speed at top RPM.

She is equipped with the tiller/control station. I just have the tiller arm and the control levers off right now since I don't use them.

Also, the tiller arm is made out of oak and is varnished as well.

Just to let everyone know...I would be interested in a trade with a Dyer 29. I am looking to go from a mini Dyer to a big Dyer.

Default Beautiful Boat

Whoever buys this boat will be getting a good one. I've seen this boat out on the Great South Bay and she's a real head turner.

Say It Ain't So!!!! I'm the original owner of this boat and sold it to Pat a while ago. I did the original restoration and took the boat down to the bare bones, replacing everything except the original glass fuel tanks. New engine beds, stringers, all wiring, all hoses, custom bunks in the cabin with battery boxes, stainless cleats, re-chromed the original Tripp hardware, new dash panel etc etc etc. Pat took her and made her even better with the new tanks and decks. This boat is one of a kind and turns heads everywhere she goes. Catches fish like a son of a b*tch and gets you home in some pretty snotty stuff. Someone buy this boat before I buy her back & bring Homeward Bound back into the family. Bump for one of my orphan children.

You can buy it back again if you want to. It would be nice to keep it in the family.

How old and married can I be before your "getting women" guarantee no longer applies? Beautiful boat!

Hey Guys,

Would anyone be interested in test running this boat before the end of the year? I plan on taking the boat out at the end of November. Drop me a message if you want to take a spin on her.

Pat

For anyone thinking of buying this boat, I have a suggestion...........buy it! I am restoring my 1973 22' Tripp Angler, after 15 years of fishing and family fun on board her, and I hope I will do somewhere as well as Patrick has done on his wonderful boat.

These boats are truly one of a kind when it comes to stability and surety in mean, nasty water, as well as their durability and strength of hull and trim, which are all part of the tradition and legacy of the F.L. Tripp line of boats. You might get a little wet getting there, but these boats will always get you there. And the classic lines and looks of these traditional nor'east beauties can only be enhanced by what surely looks like an extremely well planned and executed restoration. There is a loyalty and passion that develops between these boats and their owners, which clearly shows through here, on this job.

My congratulations go to you, Patrick, on a job well done, and also to you, whomever, who decides to buy this classic restoration.

Frank

This is a classic. You should throw up some more photos so people can really appreciate how nice of a boat this is.

Great Job!!!!!!!!!
