Give me positive feed back to help sell, Please make offers and I can deliver the boat to lower east coast. Thanks for your help. The boat is a great boat well equiped and like new with very low hours.
They had quality control problems prior to 2005. The issues were in fit, finish and attachment of outer hull to inner liner behind the rub rail all of this has been resolved. This attachment is completely bonded, caulking and sealants are of much higher grade than used prior. This boat has a good solid feel and ride. And you cant beat the power package and electronics.

Heard nothing but good things about the later models

Looks really clean....I sold these boats for a few years 2006-2009... We never had a problem with them... I pulled a customer off and oyster bar after he hit it going 30kts... some gelcoat and he was back in business.. it is a good value boat.. not a boat you want to take 80 miles offshore 250 times a year but alot more boat than most people will ever need... just because it is not a contender or a yellowfin people on this tread will give you shit.. it is a good boat with a good price and will catch plenty of fish for years and years.. good luck with the sale.. Wish everyone kept their boat in the condition yours seems to be in....
I've got an '04 that's had no issues whatsoever, aside from some snapped bungee cords. People are pretty quick to label and, as humans, we instinctively need to classify and rank, but when it comes to first hand, that is-- not rumors or second cousins' roomates' horror stories -- first hand accounts of serious problems are actually in short supply.
Not a high end boat, but certainly does what you want it to do... Best of luck.
(... and cue the generic standard derogatory comment based solely on hearsay...)

actually there are plenty of first hand experiences on the issues with seafox. I believe this boat is was actually a warranty replacement ( or is rigged identically to ) for a 257 with twin 150 yam that sank do to a poor hull/deck joint seal at the transom.
What is wrong with Seafox that makes everyone scared of them?
Nothing is wrong with the boat, many folks on here on THT think that if your boat does not have 24 deg. deadrise, triples, and have snob appeal then it sucks.
There are plenty of sharp folks here, but not a shortage of you know what I mean.
Lots of those rigs here in Va. Beach. Never heard anyone complain about them. There are 2 candy apple red ones on the Lynnhaven that are really eye catching. You are priced right. Good luck.

There are lots of first hand issues/experiences on just about every boat, good and bad alike, genius. Do you have some kind of proof that this posters boat is the actual one that you claim to have sunk or are you just trying to f*** him over for the fun of it?
The boat I have never sank or had any issues and motors are original so I don't know what he is talking about. Boat and motors are still under original warranties and I have all paper work for everything on the boat.
An aquaintance of mine has the same rig; he and his family seem to have many great hours on the Chesapeake. He loves his Sea Fox and continually raves about how pleased he has been with it. It does look nice out on the water.
Good luck with the sale of yours.
