If he takes half the care of this boat as he did the motors we bought off him you WILL NOT be disappointed. Jimmy is a straight up honest guy. Not many like him left. This boat will not last long.

Default more info

Thanks for all the positive responses on our boat. We have really tried to keep it in the best condition we know how too.

To rcoleman:
The owners of the trailer plant designed the dual spare tire carrier. It does look different up there but it has its advantages also.

To Twistedwedge:
Here are OUR fuel burns which do not match ones on the Yamaha Site. These are real world conditions as you would experience. Maybe not what some would want to see but these are dead on what we see.

3500rpms 30mph 1.9-2.0 fuel burn
4000 35 1.7-1.8
4500 39 1.5-1.6
5000 44 1.3-1.4 sweet spot for us
5500 49 1.1-1.2
6000 53 1.1

This would be with a full tank of fuel 240 gallons usually a crew of 3 to 4 adults ready to fish all day. Fastest we have seen with a very lite load WOT would be 55.5. Cruise or sweet spot is around the 5000rpm.

To Dknesich: Boat stays in our metal building in Tarboro, NC. Tarboro is located 15 miles off of I-95 outside of Rocky Mount NC.

Scouting for Goodies:
Thanks for the kind words, you and your family are top notch in my book. Yea it was pretty cool to sell the motors right off the back of the boat on the way home from fishing.

Thanks again to all that have replied.

The motors have been great! I added some pictures to my album from trips this year since we got them from you.

http://www.thehulltruth.com/members/...isharound.html

They sure are quite and FUEL EFFICIENT. Nothing against the OX66s but the savings in oil and fuel have been nice. We have definitely noticed a difference at the pump.

Again good luck with your sale. Keep in touch!

MacCTD here is your answer.

Full of fuel and grear it will weight in a 12,000 pounds. I pull it with my 2002 F250 superduty with the old 7.3 diesel. Great truck with that motor.

Thanks,

Jim

Default 31 Contender

Jim,

My name is Jack Walker and I called you from Charleston, SC 2 weeks ago. I've very, very interested in your boat but have a 2007 Maverick Mirage flats boat w/90 4-stroke Yam (40.2 hours) that we need to get rid of first (also have a J-16 CS for the creeks). The boat is in perfect condition, flawless on a high-end trailer (I can send pics if wanted). Are you at all interested in a trade +$'s? I know you said you are fishing on a 34 YF w/your son now. My wife and I want your boat! Please advise even if you're not interested in the Maverick. Thanks Jack
