Default 2000 Wellcraft 24 W/A - Reduced!!!! $16,500

2000 Wellcraft 24 W/A. Powered by '01 Johnson 200 HP Ocean Pro with 600 hours. Aluminum tandem axel trailer with surge brakes included.

This boat is the perfect compromise between a family cruiser and a fishing boat. It is ready to go. I use it regularly, no work needed to get out on the water.

The cabin has recently re-covered cushions, a sink, alcohol stove and a flushable head (no porta-potty!).
Other features:
- Marine CD player with Sony marine speakers
- Garmin GPS
- Raymarine color fish finder.
- Standard marine VHF radio
- Factory installed trim tabs
- Two bildge pumps
- Hardtop with full enclosure
- Rocket launcher rod holders
- 5 gunnel rod holders ( I have a sixth but haven't gotten around to installing it)
- Tigress outrigger bases
- Two in-deck fish boxes with macerator pump
- Built in tackle storage
- Swim platform with upgraded 4 step telescoping ladder

It has a brand new bildge pump aft. The fisbox macerator pump is also new. Batteries are just a few months old. The lower unit on the engine was rebuilt last year. The trailer has had the master cylinder replaced.

The boat is located at Scorpion's Marina at Port Canaveral, I am in Orlando. Respond to this ad by email and I'll send more pictures. jwhited@cfl.rr.com or call (407) 841-5453 and leave a message.

I just put in a fuel flow guage and have not had a chance to get it calibrated yet. I'll post some exact numbers as soon as I do. I generally burn about 40 gals for a full day fishing which for me means 20-25 mile run, 4-5 hours trolling, and 20-25 miles back. I estimate something like 2.5 mpg at fast cruise with a full load.

Performance is 24 mph at 4200 rpm with a full load (full gas, water, ice and three fishermen). Top end is 40-42 with a lighter load. Honestly, I haven't opened it up in quite a while, so that is from memory.

Wow I really like your boat. Good luck with the sale. You wouldn't be interested in an even trade would you?

No, I already found my next boat - provided this one sells. BTW, I used to fish the lagoon from an 18 sport, it's a great fishing boat.

Hey, who stole my boat! I actually have the same rig - a 99 though with a 225- I really like it. Have had bigger and smaller boats and this is a nice size for my usage. Good Luck with the sale.

Nice looking Wellcraft. A friend of mine has a 99 with the 200 but no hard top. He has been debating getting one so I will have to show him pictures of yours.

One thing I have always wondered on these; there is a plate on the bow just behind the pulpit. Looks like a seat plate to me but I cant imagine putting one there. Is that what the plate is actually for?

It is a seat base for mounting a pedestal, I suppose for fishing from the bow. This is a very popular boat, I've seen dozens of them over the years and I have never seen one with a seat mounted up there.

If you look closely at the third picture you'll notice the port seat base is different from the driver's seat. It is removable so it can be mounted on the base plate up on the bow.

Good day, I was looking at this ad, http://www.boats.com/boat-details/in...tion/110449251, and was wondering what are the differences between this boat and yours? Do you have any pics of the cabin? What kind of storage does the cabin have? Is there any type pf rrear seating? Thanks, I am in Tampa, looking to buy a boat as soon as I find it, Carl

$7500.00 - lol
Different model from the same manufacturer. The coastal is still being made, the 24 walk around is not. Here is a link to some info from Wellcraft on my boat:
http://www.wellcraft.com/index.cfm?#/20/

I have not been on the 23 coastal, can someone help us out? I think maybe the costal has a larger cabin, but less cockpit room. Please correct me if I am wrong.

There is no rear seating in the W/A. I use two folding deck chairs, one in each rear corner when I have riders. They stay on shore for fishing trips. The cabin has two storage compartments under the cushions, I'll take some more pics this weekend for you.

Just one other difference I noticed, the coastal has an 18 deg. deadrise hull, the W/A has 21 degrees. If you use the link above you can see the specs for both boats.

Default New Price

Well, I thought I had a deal, but it fell through. So I'm reducing the price to $16,500.

I also missed out on the boat I was looking at, so I'll consider trades. I'm looking for a 28-30ft class express or flybridge.
