Default 1998 Maritime Skiff 2090 w/pilot house,****SOLD****

Hull, motor, and trailer are 1998. This boat has the same pilothouse (with full canvas enclosure) as the Pioneer model, but is the open-skiff version of the hull without the coaming. The engine (115 hp 2- Stroke) has been fully serviced for this season and the boat bottom has just been blasted clean of old bottom paint and is ready for a new coat. The engine has even compression across all four cylinders @ 130 psi and it runs flawlessly. This is a very, very clean boat in excellent original condition that has never hit anything, and never had any major repairs to the motor or hull. It has always been dealer serviced and was faithfully maintained. I bought the boat this winter from it's original owner to keep at a second home but my plans have changed. If you check my other posts you'll probably see that I've swallowed the Maritime Skiff Kool Aid and have owned six of them, some of which have been sold on this website to happy owners (I hope!). Thanks for looking!

Room for a porta pottie underneath like the newer version of this hull?

Trailer included?

Yes, trailer is included and is in excellent working order. As for the porta potty I would have to say no for any adult sized person. There is no floor cut out, it's a flat deck under the console. I should also mention that the boat has a full enclosure that attaches to the hard top and seat back which might offer enough cover for those personal/private moments...

Don't want to be in violation of the board's policies on replying to questions but the new information below are things I'd like to know if I were buying a boat. There is no cut out to recess the tank so it lays on top of the deck beneath the forward portion of the console where the is a seat. Access to the tank is through a hatch. mobjack, are you asking about engine compression? - I addressed this in the post but it is 130 psi across all four cylinders. The engine runs very strongly, starts right up and idles down like it should. There is no hour meter on the engine but the original owner and I came up with an estimate of an absolute maximum of 750 hours and likely much less, the boat was used for 9 seasons with some years of heavier usage (in the beginning) and some years barely at all. Unlike most salt water used engines this vintage, there is nary a hint of corrosion anywhere. Thanks for looking.

Congrats, that is a neat boat. Never saw a 2090 with the pilot house, only the more expensive models. Great look and very practical.

Just the boat I've been looking for.....unfortunately a year early.

Maybe another will pop up in 2010

Thanks. I was surprised it went unsold for as long as it did, it was in terrific shape. They come along pretty much all the time, just be looking for the one you want well in advance of the time you anticipate you'll be ready to buy. Every used Maritime Skiff gets my attention and in all the time I've been looking (or owned them) I've never seen another 2090 Pilot House so it was unusual indeed. Best of luck!
