fine boat, Rookie. Looks brand new. Great price, too. Do you have the economy numbers?

Unfortunately I haven't really paid that much attention to them! I usually just get in and go and don't really pay too much attention to it at all. Need a buyer, then I might be able to help Ghost Rider step up to his Viking!

My dad and I sea trialed one of these a few years ago. Unfortunately we did not get to spend a lot of time on board. How stable is it while drifting? The narrow beam is one of the reasons we're considering the 38TE right now, but the 31 might still work for us.

It's plenty stable. Alot more than you would think. Obviously the 38TE is quite a bit better, but also quite a bit more $$$$ as well!! I'm moving up to a 38TE, that's why this one needs to go. Nothing wrong with it I just need something bigger with a little more room. This is a great boat and a great price. I think it has 150 or so hours on it now - it's in the shop getting regular maintenance as we speak.

That sounds great! I'm going to be going back home on Friday so I'll show this add to my dad. He really likes the 38 but as you said, its so much more money and he's not quite sure if he's ready to make that kind of commitment. Your 31 might just be what he's looking for. The only real problem I foresee is the hassle of getting it here to NJ. Good luck with the new 38. It should be a great boat. I like your taste in boats

Oh and funny story about our experience on the 31. 2 years in a row my dad almost bought one at the Atlantic City in water boat show. The second year is when we sea-trialed it. Unfortunately we made the mistake of bringing my mom with us to the show. The salesman told her the best spot to sit was the seat in front of the console. It was a rough day and as soon as he throttled it up, she went flyin' off the seat. My dad and I loved every second of it but after that, she wouldn't let us buy it. Later in the day she was planning on signing the papers for a Formula 40PC when she got seasick on the dock! No more are we considering a boat based on her needs.

Sounds good, just let me know if you have any questions or anything. As far as the shipping it's not bad at all. I had it shipped from Maryland and I think it cost 1400.00. Went to www.uship.com and they bid on it. Was very happy with the company and very professional.

Probably not, althought I think it would be fine. Since the storm I always track no less than 7 ft going out. But since there's no storage big enought to accomodate a 38 I'll probably have to keep it at surfside.
